Create a Surface Precedence

You can define precedences graphically or enter them in the Precedences data grid.

Create a Surface Precedence Graphically

  1. In the Setup Schedule > Precedences tab, select Add mode.
  2. In the 2D Canvas, select the location that must be completed first.
  3. Drag to the location you do not want to be available for mining until after the first location is complete.
  4. A new row is added to the data grid.

  5. If you want to add a delay between when the Predecessor location is complete and the Successor location becoming available, in the Precedences data grid, type a value in the Delay column.

Create a Surface Precedence using the Precedences Data Grid

  1. In the Setup Schedule > Precedences tab, select the Precedences tab.
  2. In the Precedences data grid, click Insert.
  3. A new row is added to the data grid.

  4. In the Predecessor column, select the location that must be completed before the Successor location is available for mining.
  5. In the Delay column, type the number of days that must pass after the Predecessor location is complete before the Successor location becomes available for mining.
  6. In the Successor column, select the location that is not available for mining until after the Predecessor location is completed.
